  • TPM 2.0 has been listed as a requirement in several operations recently.

  • Users now have a guide on how to enable TPM 2.0.

  • This comes in preparation for the release of windows 11.

With the long-awaited release of Microsoft’s Windows 11 release slated for October 5, the company has now released supporting documents to guide users on how to enable TPM 2.0 on their PCs.

As you may recall, the release of Windows 11 came with a set of new requirements for each PC or else users would be locked out. Just the other day, games such as Valorant running on Windows 11 had their minimum requirements set to TPM 2.0 for efficient running.

News comes as a relief

With Microsoft releasing the support documents, users can now rest assured that they will be prepared come October 5. The company decided that it would be prudent to offer more information to its users given its long history in explaining system requirements.

Further, the company explains that the document clearly articulates the needs of TPM 2.0 in intuitive and guided text that each user will find easy to follow. The document contains a ‘how to’ guide on enabling TPM 2.0 on their PCs.

All-inclusive document

Although not everyone has a problem with enabling TPM 2.0 on their PCs, Microsoft acknowledges that this information is critical whether  everyone knows about it or not. Users whose computers are not enabled with TPM 2.0 and those who have it enabled but are yet to configure them will be the key beneficiaries of the supporting document.

The guide also explains to users how to check for compatibility and other instructions. To get the full instructions on how to enable TPM 2.0 on your PC, you can find detailed instructions on the official website.

Is your PC TPM 2.0 enabled? Have you configured it yet to meet the requirements? Let us know your experience with configuring your PC in the comment section below.
