  • Modifying settings on your Windows 11 device is quite a simple task. For example, you can easily change the language.

  • There are two ways in which you can achieve your goal on the new operating system.

  • Note that you can select or install a new language by using the Windows 11 taskbar menu.

  • This article also contains the exact steps that may assist you in changing the language directly from the Settings menu.

Windows 11 language

Microsoft is aiming to further simplify the way that we perceive and use their trademark operating system, and Windows 11 seems to really focus on user accessibility.

This is exactly what Windows 10 was missing, the fast access to the most basic settings, without having to go through multiple menus in order to modify them.

In this age, when everything happens so fast, and the main goal is to complete all our tasks as fast as possible, this comes as a breath of fresh air.

How do I change the language on my Windows 11 PC?

1. Directly from the taskbar

Don’t concern yourself thinking that you will need to spend a lot of time just changing some of the basic settings, such as brightness, or language.

In fact, Microsoft made it much easier to tweak certain basic options, with Windows 11. There are two ways in which you can actually switch the language of your OS.

The first one would be to click on the language button, situated on the bottom right of the taskbar, and simply select what language you want to switch to.

From this menu, you can quickly swap between your most used languages, or select Language preferences, which will take you to the Settings menu.

2. From the Settings menu

Another way to alter the language settings is to use the main Settings menu on your PC. To do so, you just have to press the Windows Key + I shortcut, command which will automatically bring up the desired menu.

The next step is to select the category you need, which in this case is Time & Language.

Once you selected Time & Language, click the Language tab on the left side menu. Now you have the option of selecting your preferred language or adding a new language pack if the one you want is missing.

After you have made the desired modifications, simply close the Settings menu window and resume your activity. Not hard at all, is it?

Remember that Microsoft has announced that, starting next week, the first preview builds of the new OS will be available for testing for all Windows Insiders.

Also, make sure you inform yourself regarding the Windows 11 system requirements in order to be able to run it when it officially becomes available.
